Country and western singing icon and outspoken Christian Cary Underwood was recently criticized in on-line posts for her support of gay marriage. In an interview she said "any two people who love each other ought to be able to get married." While I disagree with Miss Underwood, I can appreciate how she comes to her conclusion. The church has neglected to teach a biblical view of human sexuality and marriage, and many millennial Christians would say much the same thing if asked. Outsider Candidates are GOP's Last Best Hope

I am not a Trump supporter, at least not yet. If the decision were mine alone I would give the nomination to another candidate; on the other hand, neither am I one who is wringing my hands waiting for him to drop out of the race. If Trump gets the nomination I will vote for him. We could do a lot worse. Trump is the healthiest thing for the party since the nomination of Teddy Roosevelt.  It is becoming more and more evident to me that Trump may actually be the nominee. I agree with much of what Trump says. I  like most of what he says, and I love the way he says it. It is about time someone told the truth.   On January 24, 2022 the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) announced it's decision in Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization. Their  announcement follows: “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. The Constitution makes no reference to abortion, and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision, including the one on which the defenders of Roe and Casey now chiefly rely—the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.” This decision ended, probably permanently, federal protection of the right of a woman to have an abortion without limits or restriction. It left abortion to the discretion of the states in accord with the 9th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
